Not gonna lie, I was kind of feeling the Doggett/Reyes thing. Too bad they didn't develop it more. And all of your lovely Mulder/Scully pictures remind me how much I miss this show.

I love Doggett/Reyes and it kills me sometimes to think how it could have been developed.. Really wish there had been just one more season. Many more would have been amazing, but I'd have been happy with just one more. (Which admittedly I'd probably say even if we got one more season lol so it probably doesn't count.)

Mulder/Scully.. yeaaah. Been a bit nostalgic for those two lately. ♥

YES. It's like, I know the show's quality deteriorated a bit, got weighed down by its mythology, did some stupid things, but still, none of that was Reyes or Doggett's fault and I LOVED their relationship. >_< I know a lot of fans hated them, but heck, I was in it for them, not Mulder and Scully by that point, I really thought they gave the show new life. Too bad they didn't get to be in a spin-off, I wonder if they would've been better received. *sighs*

Why does this always happen to me? Awesome new female character joins show, has great chemistry with main guy, is totally adorable and makes me love the show more- and then it gets canceled! (thinking of Vala in particular here, but I know it's also happened in other shows, I've just repressed the pain, lol)

Gah, yess. Season 8 beginning was the worst. I can barely sit through it. About halfway through though, it gets back to awesome. Maybe not the quality of some earlier eps, but.. for a show bringing in two more chars to focus on in a big way.. quite amazing. And yes. New life. Agreed. Would have loved to see a spin-off.

*shrug* Dunno. Same happens to me a fair amount. Tis saddening. And why I write fic. *nod nod*

I was so feeling the Doggett/Reyes love in S9.
So so sad that it wasn't developed further.

And *sigh* to Mulder/Scully.
I just recently watched S8 and S9 in its entirety and the angstyness from Scully is just off the charts and it's just beautiful.

Til Mulder left? Nah. I loved seasons 8 and 9 too. It was like watching a different show at times, but even so I loved the characters then too.

Nope. That's my one 'not quite a fan of' storyline of XF tbh.. I don't think it was written as well as it could have been.
