[Poll #1721944]

In other news, I had a 4 hour nap after uni. It's now midnight. And Zach didn't wake me, nor did he buy us food. Luckily he figured we can make pancakes from what we do have lying around here (which really? not that much). So pancakes for dinner, it will be. I think they're savoury pancakes. Can't wait to try them! :)

How did the pancakes turn out? :) This sounds like an interesting experiment. ^^

I see your random and I'll raise you an cracked nut.
To be honest, I would have loved if there was a "other" in your poll. Cause my mind immediately went to:
a) a toilet seat (which you'll get if you've watched Dead Like Me)
b) a star, and she was pissed (which you'll get if you've watched Stardust)
*shurgs*

Really really really greasy. And did I mention greasy? I could only eat like.. a third of one. Zach heated up some apricot dessert type things so I'm having those instead then might go get some fruit or capsicum or something else.

Inspired by your voting in an old poll, actually. :P
But yes. I shall keep an "other" in mind for next time. Might make things more interesting.

Greasy, bleh.

I know I love capsicum. ^^ But just that may not constitute a proper meal according to real people. *shrugs*

Yep lol. And these apricot danish things? Good, but too sweet to have more than one in a sitting. I've had one and a half, am still rather hungry, but don't think a lot of this food we have will help my stomach much.

*shrug* Capsicum has been a meal for me several times. It's sooo good.
Normal people? Ugh. :P

Hm. You really don't have anything at all to eat? Oo Like... old bread? Oatmeal? Ten yogurts? I once had a meal of three apples. They're surprisingly... flilling.

Normal people? *points to icon*

We do have some stuff but it's more the stuff you add to actual food lol or partial meals. Or greasy stuff or dairy, which makes me queasy/does not do well on my throat. So. I'm just really picky tonight.

Me too. *nods*

My siblings made pancakes the other day, but they put pink food colouring in the batter. It looked like they were eating ham. Trippy.

Very trippy lol. That'd be so weird eating that..

Yeah it was freaking me out, they named the first pancake Porky, and gave him a chocolate face. They took pictures and left him on the kitchen bench all day. Should I mention that this is my 22 year old sister? A few months ago she put an eye patch on a Potato, gave him a tooth pick sword and called him Spudacus. He was sitting on the window sill for weeks, just starting at me with his one eye.

Giving food names? Never a good idea. It always leads to tears when you have to eat him/her.

*remembers Sheppard, the pineapple fondly and sadly*

Have you seen Heston Blutmenthal's foods? I LOVED when he made an ice-cream dessert that looked like cured bacon/ham! I wanted to try it so much. XD

I'm not sure you designed that poll with the intention for people to put as much thought into it as I just did.

This is...interesting. Not odd. Just...interesting. I had so thought you'd have been selecting the zombie or pancake one. :P

And I only checked after I saw someone *else* voted for fallen angel (I really need to get up early or just record some of the re-runs of Touched By an Angel...) that you had voted for that one. Damn it, I wasn't trying to copy you! :P

True. :P Yeah, usually I'd pick any of the results listed.. but.. fallen angel one.. I just really liked how it came out lol

*squish* :P

" but.. fallen angel one.. I just really liked how it came out lol"

Exactly. I think the way you worded it a lot of other people did too! Or they're just sick and tired of zombies. ;)

Yep they can all get a bit much at times.

I do think some of the new craze is angels, there's a few YA books out there now with boys/girls as guardian angels. Though I haven't read any.

It reminded me of the plot in the first book of Richelle Mead's (yes her again!) Georgnia Kincaid /Succubus series...there's lots of talk about fallen angels...

Indeed.

Angels and reapers, yeah. I've seen a fair few of both lately. Just bought Trent Jamieson's Death Most Definite" and yess. It's apocalypse/Reapers.. sounds so good. Will have to wait til hols to read I think.

Richelle Mead.. I really must read. Track down eBooks to put on my kindle maybe.

Nice. Once you've read it do tell how good you found it (Jamieson's book).

I voted Kittens but in reality it was made by exploding macaroinni and cheese but it could have been the kittens.

Ah pancakes, I've had pancakes for dinner before and cold leftover pizza for breakfast but the two are not related.
