I'm trying to decide what goal to set for myself. I'm thinking either 150K again or trying for the 200K. *ponders* How about you guys?

I went with 150K. I'm just under 65K short for the year and that was because I wrote so inconsistently. I think with more consistent writing like I did in October and November, I can actually hit it next year. By December, I always need a break so I never rely on that last month to add much (if anything) to that word count.

Think I'll go with the 150K also. I'm juuust a little bit away from reaching it this year, but not quite.. so.

I went with the 150K again this year, with the goal of at least hitting the 50% mark on that goal again. :) Can't wait to see how we both do in 2012!!

I signed up for 200k this year, and only managed a meagre, what, 30k? Very sad, that. But I'm determined to write more next year. I'm definitely also counting my thesis, even though it's technically ~not allowed, but it's more like what you have to do vs. what you want to do, right? And I'm really excited for my thesis and really want to write it, so. Prolly still only going for 150k this year, if I sign up at all. I'm so torn; I really expected more from the comm, especially word war-wise... tl;dr I am toooorn.

But good luck for yours, whichever amount you end up pledging! ;)

30k is still a good amount. More than most people would write. :)
150k this year... definitely worth signing up for. If you fall behind or something you can always drop out later on.

I honestly don't think I'm going to do it this year. I've failed the last...two or three times (pretty sure I've failed this year...I haven't really cared enough. And actually, MOST of my word count was made up by role play posts >.>). :| But good luck1
