A thank you of sorts

Dear Beth,

Thank you for the Christmas card and postcard. They're both very shiny and will soon be put up with the rest of our cards. :)

Please also accept my apologies for being sucky at matching names with... usernames. I'm sorry. I know the names of a number of my flist but not all, and I also know a few Beth's so am hesitant to guess which one you are with only your name and location (see postcard) to go on.

But yes. Anyway. *massive hugs and puppies*

Haha, I share your suckiness! Some people refer to me by name on lj and that's fine, but I'd never be comfortable calling others by name, even those I've known for years!

I always have a mini-freak out before sending cards where I cross-check name on the card/envelope with the username on the comment with their address to make absolutely sure I got the right person! Nothing more awful than calling someone the wrong name in their card...except, lol, thanking the wrong person, that'd be awkwaaaard. *g*

:P True, that. Yeah, I'm a bit the same way. Except for maybe 4 or 5 flisters.

I think sending a card with the wrong name would be more awkward tbh..
