Userpic Rant / Fic Recs???

I sooo want more userpics! I have a tonne of SG-1 ones (heh! SG-1 ones! that sounds really weird! =P) saved and...and...and...Argh! I need more! *curses greatestjournal for being lame and community-less but having 2000 userpic spots* And I can't buy more, cuz I don't have any way to pay. My mum wouldn't let me anyway, and while I'm still living here, what she says goes. *grimaces* Yup. *curses some more*

Okay. I'm done.

BTW, does anyone have any SG-1 (&/or Sanctuary!) fic recs at the moment? I've been severely lacking in SG-1 reading material the last few days. Been focusing on LJ and other journals. Thanks in advance!

Currently there's a ton of great stuff at the sd_ficathon (I even scratched out something for that one). And you can always find something good at stargateficrec.

2000 userpics is love....but yeah, the few communities it's got does kinda suck, I guess that's another part of why I still reply to things on LJ....because that way I can view and read the neat stuff everyone posts on the comms I'm on too!

As for fic recs....I'm gonna shamelessly plug my fic, Better Days (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3429200/1/), if that's alright? *g* It is a little, how do you say...M rated, but nothing too graphic (I don't think). Also, 'Hold Me (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3389259/1/)' by Shimmeringstar on FF.net is GREAT too! If you haven't read it, I so recommend it. Oh, did I mention they're both Sam/Cam? Umm, they are :)

Okay, I'm gonna do something I probably shouldn't...and that's share a list of Sam/Cam fic I've compiled (seriously incomplete, however), if you wanna take a peak: http://tyniere.com/ficlist/ Lotsa great fics in there, like 'The Five Other Places that Sam Knows Cam Lost His Pants', and of course one of my fav fics by Amanda Ayr, 'Last Moments'. Is it wrong that I had no interest in GreatestJournal at all until I found out you could have 2000 userpics, and now I want to go there? Ive gone from 6 to 15 to 105 and I still don't have enough userpics! I'm addicted. ;)

I think there are about 2 Sanctuary fanfics in the world right now. You should write some! :D

And yeah...I've been thinking about writing for Sanctuary. I haven't found many fics out there for it. I've only read one, actually! So, not many at all.
