fansquee has been in hospital. These updates were posted to her facebook:

Hi just to let you know Catherine is in ICU at Westmead Hospital she has pneumonia and is sedated and being ventilated by a machine so that's why she hasn't replied she didn't want to tell anyone but I thought different I now have a Facebook account it is [name]

Hi all Catherine is awake but still has tube down throat and restrained to bed so she doesn't remove it Hopefully the Drs will do that tomorrow she is still in ICU
No status updates since then, but as I was going to Supanova to see Alan Tudyk - who is basically her favourite actor ever - I asked him for a favour. This is the result:
I posted it to Catherine's facebook page with a 'get well' message of my own. Her cousin said she's been visiting every second day or more and will be sure to show the video to her next time she goes in. Her cousin told me Catherine was "a bit tired today but small steps. Shes awake thats a good hugh step."
I'm leaving this public entry for now, in case anyone wants to inform any of Catherine's other friends on here.
