Paid Account // LJ Stuff

I'm loving the new update journal section! So much neater and easier than the old version. *ends rant before it grows too big and fills up the entire update*

Yeah, so anyway, I was thinking of getting a paid account. I mean, I'm on enough to do it and it makes sense to. I wouldn't be getting it until next year (or at least sometime after Christmas) if I got it at all, but I was just wondering what everyone thought.

I'd really love to get more display pics (I'm so sick of rotating them every week or so when I find a new one or two that I want to add!) and the ads on the plus account really drive me insane. I'm surprised I haven't changed back to a basic account actually, that's how bad it is. I'm sure there's more I don't even know about at the moment that would be great too.

The only problem is payment. Manually would be my best option (I don't have a credit card and wouldn't trust myself to get one anyway.) So...what does everyone think? Is it worth me getting a paid account? Do they have trials or anything?

I just found this community: 10_at_a_time. It's basically a choose 10 prompts from a list type thing - the list being pretty much the same as the prompt tables for fanfic100. So, basically, this is more to motivate myself than anything. I already have these prompts to write for; it's nothing new. I've been writing 100 word ficlets for the prompts so far, so most likely these will be the same. 1000 words all up.
