ZOMG!Fail!

I went to bed quite early last night (between 11:30pm and midnight) in preparation for Supanova. Got to sleep all right... but a few hours before my alarm was due to go off I woke up again - for no reason at all that I could see - and couldn't get back to sleep. GRR!

I lay in bed til the alarm went of anyway, showered, came online and now my energy is all gone. This not be good. I could probably spare another hour to rest up before I head in (and may still do that), but.. yep. Even with that, today is gonna be a lonnnng day! I see a lot of coffee in my near future.

lolz, yep! That sounds like me. :D Twas lining up for a photo with Corin Nemec though. I've got a huuuge thing for that guy apparently. :P Always did love Jonas.

Aww.. You shoulda come said hi. :) Though lol.. a little of the time there I was very spaced out and tired and my hearing went all funny for a few minutes... like it does when you get water in your ears after swimming or something? Bit fuzzy. Eh. Well. In any case, yeah. You shoulda said something! Maybe next time. :)

I was standing over in the photo pick up area for 3 and a half hours because my friend's photo wasn't getting printed at all.

For sure. :) Unless they pick absolutely no guests I like (which is unlikely - the past 5 years there's been someone!), I'll be going, so...

Ouuch! Thats a pain. I was in line waiting for Corin to come over for a photo for maybe an hour and a half/2 hours, but when it came to photo pick up, that was... maybe 20 seconds after I left the photo section.. I was going to come back for it an hour later, glanced at the photo print area and someone was holding it up.

This year was so much bigger than previous years - and not quite as well organised for the numbers that made it in. Shame. It was still far better than The Hub Productions. Will have to bring extra water next year though, all that standing in lines for photo tokens was terrible, esp in the sun.

I was surprised how smoothly some parts of it ran (the guest panels were awesome), the photos were a hiccup, but from what I hear that's to be expected at cons. :P

My photo op with Gareth was really quick. Waited maybe 20 mins for him to come, take the pic and got it printed about 5 minutes later. I don't know if I will share it on LJ though, I look so haggard after waiting for 2 and a half hours in line to purchase the photo!

I was packing water and Powerade to stave off dehydration, but there were a few times, especially in the hot sun I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I was also dressed as Vala so I had the long sleeved black top and heavy cargo pants which was quite stifling also. :P

I will be posting a con report as soon as I stop procrastinating and upload the videos/pics etc etc etc!

20 mins isn't too bad. The photo/autograph token line was so bad though! Especially down the end with the sun... argh. Yeah my photo was a bit meh of me too because of that lol. My hair doesn't like that kinda weather. Still, glad I got it. Had worse pics. :P

Powerade.. awesome. Love that stuff.

I don't recall anyway dressed as Vala tbh so couldn't tell you if I saw you or not.. Sounds like a suffocating-like costume on a day like that! I thought it'd be cooler.

I may/may not be going this year. I want so much to go to Sydney one for Morena Baccarin and Sean Maher, but not sure we can afford that.. If we can, we'll likely go there and not to the Bris one.. but then, we may just go to the Bris one if Sydney's too expensive. If that makes sense. Shall see.

First timers? Ooooh. Those are fun. It's always most exciting the first time, hehe.. Erm. Yeah, sure. If we go to the Bris one.. :)
