+ Sam/Jack Friending Meme! Welcome to those I met through this meme! (
*nudges* flisters who like Sam/Jack and haven't commented there.) :)

+ I'm dying from lack of sleep just a little bit. Going to go rest awhile (hopefully sleep too, but I'll be happy with just some rest if sleep won't come).

+ Shall be teaching Zach (solaris242) some LJ formatting stuff in a bit. Head over and friend him if you'd like. He's pretty much the male version of me in many ways (but add a lot more knowledge of science-y stuff and gaming, and yeess, he's male and all that). Note that he's not been around much on LJ so far. I'm trying to get him into it and help him find some communities and such to join. So there should be more posts soon, if all that works out okay. There shall be much poking to ensure he does do it (though he did ask me to help out a bit with it, so might not need the poking).

Thanks, I did. Slept for at least an hour or so, I believe. I had a dream I can't quite remember... was sort of guiding it in the last few moments as I was waking.. but yeah. Not enough to share. Just fragments remain.

Indeed it is. Am very glad I was able to sleep. It's only the first wk of uni. I can't imagine going 2 months without sleep again, or longer. :/

It has to be the uni stressing you out subconsiously or something doesn't it? Or being around a lot of people at uni? I think you trying to stick to a regular sleep pattern is good, and even though you've got late classes try and keep more normal (read to the sun) hours. Sunlight being the catalyst to our body and everything. (Though I know you've tried basically everything last year.) *hugs* Hope it doesn't get worse.

Could be uni stressing me out subconsiously, yup. Or it could be that ex-friend I recently unblocked from fb and now can see messages from if she posts to our mutual friends' walls (and she can see mine too; no actual contact with her thankfully, but it's still weirded me out a bit).

Maybe. But that's nothing new. I'm used to lots of people with public transport being insane and such. And the shops being full of people, esp in hols.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm definitely trying to be better with when I go to sleep. That said I'm not about to set definite hrs for bed and all that. I couldn't do that, would rebel against it. I'm just being a bit more sensible and going for 1am or 2am rather than a 5am bedtime.

LOL.. I'm just hoping he sticks with it tbh. I think he'll give it a real shot, but if it doesn't feel like his thing - and it may not - then he might not hang around on LJ much. Expect him to do some serious lurking for at least a week. I'm going to hopefully help out with an LJ tour type thing tomorrow as we didn't get to it today, and will see if I can get him interested with comm recs, etc, etc. See how that goes.

Heh, yep. You can't force someone to like/use something they don't like. Maybe he should do an introductory entry with a small list of things he's interested in or likes/dislikes. You'd be surprised who searches LJ for similar things. (Plus fill out the 'interests' tabs on the profile) I might or might not be able to rec comms depending on what he's looking for..

Yeah.. that's all true with the small spaces and people and all. But I'm not sure if that would be relevant or not considering that the only sleepless nights so far have been the nights I've not had uni the following day and not really been around small spaces/people. Tis odd.

I shall suggest an intro post to him tomorrow. Might make up my own for the few new flisters I got from a Sam/Jack (SG1) friending meme.. and tell him he can use it as a sort of template. Interests on the profile? Excellent idea. Shall note that down for him also. :D

I'm sure he'd love that. Will send you a comment once he's added more content to his LJ, interests and such, and if there's any comms you'd recommend then, hopefully something will stand out for him. :) Thank you. *squish*
